President

Marit Davey is a cybersecurity leader, a longtime Estonian community advocate, and President of LEP 2026. She previously served as Senior Vice President of LEP-ESTO 2013.

Linnea has been volunteering with the San Francisco Estonians since 2011. She is also an avid hiker and nature lover. Her first LEP memory is of the Santa Monica Mountains in 1989.

Mai-Liis is retired from a long career with the National Park Service. She currently serves on the boards of the San Francisco Estonian Society and the Estonian American National Council.

Born into the Estonian community near Syracuse, New York, Kalev was delighted to find a vibrant Estonian community in the Bay Area when he moved to San Francisco in the 90's. He and his husband David are happy to be helping with Rahvapidu festivities!  

Kristiina was born and raised in Tallinn, Estonia.  

Trained as an architect and urban designer, she moved to California 11 years ago and lives with her husband Dan in Santa Rosa.

Kristiina is a passionate arts, culture, golf and travel enthusiast, and a San Francisco Eesti Selts board member.

Piret was born and raised in Tallinn, moved to the United States and California back in 2001. 

Her professional career consists of working in academia and education management.

She enjoys traveling and love singing Estonian folk music.

Mati attended his first LEP in 1969 in Vancouver and has only missed a couple since then.  He has been actively involved in many LEPs and the Estonian American National Council.  Mati was President of LEP in San Francisco in 1993.

Silvi was born in Los Angeles and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area 39 years ago. She attended her first LEP in 1971 in Los Angeles and has been to most of them ever since, performing folk dance and volunteering at many of them.

Kristina has lived in the Bay Area for 35 years. She is a member of SF Eesti Koor and involved for the first time with LEP.
In her professional life, she is an Accounting Manager/Project Coordinator and a Notary at a construction and development company for 22 years.

Anne-Marie Riitsaar is an International Security Analyst at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where she focuses on nuclear nonproliferation. Previously, she served as an analyst in the Department of Nuclear Safeguards at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna and represented Estonia in the UN High-Level Preparatory Group on a Fissile Material Cut-off Treaty.

Since 2022, Anne-Marie has served on the Board of the San Francisco Estonian Society. As Lead Volunteer Organizer of the Resilience Forum, she has led the development and coordination of a program that brings together leaders from government, academia, industry, and civil society to explore democratic resilience in the age of AI.

She believes some of the most meaningful change happens when people come together around a shared purpose, and that strong civil society is one of democracy's greatest strengths.

Outside of work, Anne-Marie enjoys hiking, skiing, reading, traveling, sleeping, and is the proud mother of an aerospace engineer in training.

Elise attended her first LEP in Portland in 1973. She has lived most of her life in Marin County, CA, and is recently retired.

Silva is retired and participates in activities with the SF Eesti Selts and Keelering.
